Army Radio Station Adds Highland Locations to Roster

A community radio station for service personnel and their families at an army barracks in Edinburgh is now also being broadcast at barracks in the Highlands.Garrison FM is now available at Cameron barracks in Inverness and the nearby Fort George base that is home to the 3rd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland.Says Garrison FM: Families at home in Inverness will now be able hear their loved ones in weekly link-ups to 3 SCOTS base in Afghanistan, broadcast on 87.7 FM in both locations."Garrison FM comprises a breakfast show presented 6am to 10am by Mark McKenzie and then volunteer broadcasts from 6pm-8pm. The remainder of its output comes from a sister station at Catterick.
