We’re looking to talk to procurement specialists who will be joining a small function as the Procurement & Supplier Oversight Manager. Reporting to a Head of Procurement, this is a new role within the business and will be part of the growing Edinburgh office. This is a relatively new area for the business meaning you will real scope and autonomy to deliver a more structured process across supplier negotiations and on boarding, due diligence, and delivery of supplier relationships that will benefit the business.
Based on a hybrid basis from a lovely Edinburgh city centre office (3 days on-site / 2 home), you’ll be joining the business at an exciting time in their development.
We’re Looking For…
- Extensive experience as a Procurement/Supplier Manager in a regulated environment
- Proven track record of successful commercial negotiations
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- A risk focused approach to working with suppliers
- Great regulatory knowledge
- Due diligence experience would be a bonus here too
- Accessible to Edinburgh office for hybrid working
You will be….
- Happy to operate in a hands-on environment as part of a small team
- Procuring suppliers and taking the lead on negotiating commercials as well as managing relationships
- Manage all supplier related issues that arise
- Supporting in the oversight monitoring of the wider business
- Administering contracts on Agiloft and risk assessments
- Identifying cost savings across the business
- Helping to embed a TPRM framework into the business
