A VICTORIAN DISTILLERY RE-IMAGINED FOR THE FUTURE

Since Bruichladdich’s resurrection in 2001, our ambitions have gone beyond the simple idea of making and selling single malt scotch whisky. 

Our goal was to be an antidote to the industry norm.

We set course to be pioneers, provocateurs and change makers. Reconnecting the land and the dram, re-evaluating the prescribed ‘rules’ of the industry, questioning where flavour comes from and understanding why agricultural ecosystems are important. 

This was a journey that would go on to inspire an army of distillers and drinkers across the world.

And as we continue this path, we discover that the more we learn, the more we know we need to do.

Pioneering the principles of terroir in an industry that dismissed it as irrelevant, Bruichladdich set out with a vision of high provenance, flavour first, natural, Single Malt Whisky. 

Twenty years on and the Bruchladdich distillery project continues; an incredible journey that has led the business to achieve B Corp accreditation in 2020, the first and currently only Scotch Distiller to be accredited as using business as a force for good.

Bruichladdich have 3 Single Malt Brands – Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore. All are 100% distilled, matured and bottled only on Islay. The ranges are complex, with a pace of innovation that is unusual and exhilarating. The packaging packs a powerful punch and is a stand out in the industry, and they are challenging themselves to go further in regards to their impact on the environment.

Global Brand Manager, Octomore 

PERMANENT

OCTOMORE IS A BRAND WITH CULT STATUS WITHIN THE GLOBAL SPIRITS INDUSTRY AND HAS A HIGHLY ENGAGED AUDIENCE, COMMANDING A UNIQUE POSITION IN THE MARKET, OFTEN REFERRED TO AS THE IMPOSSIBLE EQUATION.

First launched in 2006 the brand is at a pivotal stage in its life cycle and your role will be to help define the brand strategy that will take Octomore to the next level, leveraging the equity already built but defining the pathway to a new generation of consumers who are as yet unaware. 

Creating the tools and assets to deliver this strategy you will work with local markets to implement best in class activations and ensure consistency.

Global Brand Manager, Bruichladdich Single Malt

MATERNITY COVER - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Bruichladdich is the hero brand within the Malt’s portfolio, representing 50% of their total volume. It is the most accessible, appealing to the widest audience and with the broadest range with core to luxury price points. Crucially it is the awareness vehicle for their bigger purpose – the evidence base of the business’s values led philosophy.  

Bruichladdich are at a new stage in the life cycle for the brand with clear ambitions for the future and are developing a new brand idea, range architecture and campaign for relaunch. The role will require impeccable project management skills to manage this relaunch, a clear understanding of markets and interpersonal skills to ensure buy in and agency management to create assets for best in class activation. It is an incredible opportunity for someone passionate and ambitious to work in an agile business on a brand that is stand out in the industry.

JOB TITLE

Denholm are delighted to be working exclusively with Loch Lomond Group; one of the most exciting and fast-growing global spirits companies in the country. To assist with their growth ambitions, they are looking to recruit a commercially astute and strategic marketer to join their team in a newly created role, as Head of Whisky Marketing.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Whisky will create and drive a comprehensive and strategic brand plan including positioning, range architecture and pricing strategy to allow delivery of the business growth ambitions. You will have a background of working with premium spirits and be confident in launching NPD and range extensions across the global marketplace, ensuring alignment to the brand values through promotional toolkits. In addition to a background in brand-building, with the consumer at the heart of global activations, you will have experience of leading brand communications across all platforms including digital, sponsorship, PR and Events.

The Head of Whisky will be a visionary thinker and will bring passion and enthusiasm to the role. You will have the ability to nurture and lead a high performing team to ensure that all strategic plans are translated into commercially successful activations.

Sponsorship & Events Manager

The Loch Lomond Group are seeking a commercially-savvy Sponsorship and Events Manager to join the marketing team.

You will be responsible for developing Loch Lomond Group's sponsorship and events strategy and delivering a program of activities and partnerships that will support the business growth ambitions. Other responsibilities include managing renewals and negotiations, overseeing communication with sponsors as well as aligning business and market needs.

The Sponsorship & Events Manager is a key role in the business.
