Denholm is excited to partner with a growing tech business based in Edinburgh who have an opportunity for an experienced Group Reporting Manager to join their team of experts. This is a key hire for the Finance team and wider business due an exciting period of growth. They are looking for a technically strong individual who can quickly build effective working relationships across the team and with other areas of the business, including in the US and Europe. Reporting into Senior Management you will be responsible for managing the quarterly financial reporting requirements including consolidations. You will hold responsibility for planning year-end reporting, overseeing the audit process where you will work closely with group auditors, supporting the monthly management accounts and assisting the wider finance team with review and analysis at month-end. Other responsibilities include assisting with SOX implementation, working closely with the tax department, reporting to board and implementing process improvements. You are a strong communicator who can build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business and with external advisers.
You will be a fully qualified Accountant who holds a professional accounting qualification including ICAS, ACCA or equivalent. As a key member of the finance team, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. You have gained experience of group consolidations and have experience of managing the requirements of a year-end audit process. Knowledge and experience of US GAAP, Sox and multi-currency is preferred. Experience of Xero or Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
