The team at Denholm is excited to be partnered with Blueair, a Unilever company and world-leader producer of air purifiers for home and professional use, in their search for a Key Account Manager in the UK.
This role is, first and foremost, about cultivating professional relationships. Blueair are very happy with their current distributors in the UK, and as the UK market is one they’re focussing on, this role is more about finding marginal gains, driving business and ensuring retailers have a direct ambassador for the company in the UK.
Reporting in to the Sales Director based in Stockholm, this is a very autonomous position so will be suitable to someone experienced working autonomously, managing their own diary, arranging external visits independently, attending trade shows and handling reporting and forecasts.
We would expect that you would meet with key distributors once a fortnight or so, and meet with retailers (such as Argos, John Lewis, Harrods etc), once a month or so.
The role in a snapshot:
You will be responsible for market growth through several prioritized distributors and retailers in your territory.
You use your analytical mind and strong quantitative data skills to grow the business and identify new potential partners. In addition, you will be introducing new products to the markets.
You will be the expert on our products and educate distributors and retailers in close collaboration with the product marketing team and other stakeholders within the company.
Our ideal candidate:
- Capable of building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Strong in analytics and have the ability to develop, plan, implement, and manage complete account business and promotional plans.
- A good communicator with a proactive approach and good commercial awareness
- Experience of Account Managing a distributor network or portfolio of retailers
