Their mission is supported by dynamic, creative, and successful marketing initiatives, which you will lead as their Marketing Manager.
As part of an esteemed Business Development team, spanning London, Winchester, and Edinburgh, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing marketing, sales, and client development programs. Specifically, you’ll take ownership of the marketing program, crafting both annual plans and tactical strategies for this rapidly growing sector. Working closely with our Head of Marketing Campaigns and supported by a team of marketing executives, you’ll ensure our marketing efforts drive our clients growth and mission.
- Develop and own the annual marketing plan, aligning with the growth strategy and broader brand objectives
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to leverage specialist functions and technologies effectively.
- Execute the delivery of brand marketing programs, including the Annual summit, while contributing to overall brand marketing efforts.
- Line manage two senior marketing executives, fostering their growth and development.
- Ensure marketing campaigns achieve best-in-class results and continually improve.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the wider business to ensure alignment and maximise impact.
- Cultivate a strong brand and consistent voice across all marketing channels.
- Manage project delivery from briefing to ROI measurement, ensuring stakeholder buy-in throughout.
- Collaborate with internal specialists and external agencies to achieve successful outcomes.
Skills and Qualities:
- Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans with measurable commercial success.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of the marketing mix and its application in increasing business profile.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Experience in people management, focusing on supporting others’ development and success.
- Proficiency in measuring results and providing recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B marketing. Energy experience a big plus!)
- Degree, relevant apprenticeship, or professional qualifications (e.g., CIM).
- Familiarity with the energy sector, B2B marketing, subscription marketing, or technology product marketing preferred.
- Technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Desirable experience with CRM databases, webinar platforms (e.g., ON24), content management systems, and email marketing tools. Basic understanding of design software (e.g., InDesign).
