Denholm is working with one of the UK’s leading food companies who are looking to add a talented and ambitious sales professional to the National Accounts team. This opportunity will be working on one of their biggest multiple retail accounts and offers a great opportunity for a move into National Accounts and the opportunity to work at head office level.
Reporting to the Business Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all queries from one of the company’s key clients and will look to develop and strengthen this customer relationship. In addition, you will work with the account to understand their requirements, develop sales plans, as well as provide after-sales support and ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries. Through regular communication, you will report on the status of the account, any new product and pricing details, and suggest new products/services to maximize all opportunities.
You will be degree qualified in a relevant field, ideally across Marketing or Business and experienced in a relevant sales role in the food and drink industry and ready to move into working on National Accounts. You will have a good understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience with strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships. With effective presentation and negotiation skills and a professional approach, you will be keen to learn and develop into a role that is the first step to becoming a National Account Manager with a multimillion pound account.
