We are searching for a National Sales Performance Coach who will work directly with the field sales team to help impact their execution, results and long term company vision.
The Role
The National Sales Performance Coach will be responsible for delivering best in class training and onboarding for our sales business. They will lead the development and facilitation of all field sales curriculum and training incorporating our sales systems and standards. Working alongside their their counterparts in the US, Sales Director & Head of Sales, the Sales Coach will play an instrumental part in the “hyper growth” phase of this business.
- Lead and develop the training program for entire field sales organisation.
- Help identify skill gaps in new hires and work with them and their manager to develop plans to improve
- A “hands on approach”, spending time with the field sales team within our on trade customers to identify training needs
- Partner with key stakeholders within the team to help ensure we have the training and tools to drive performance
- Work with the line managers to help build great development plans for the field sales function
- Recruit, mentor, motivate and retain highly skilled sales professionals
- Coordinate with sales execution and strategy teams to ensure onboarding and training curriculum is aligned to deliver volume, share, and KPI growth.
About You
You will have operated in a leadership role within a sales capacity and have a strong background and understanding of FMCG, ideally in spirits or alcohol. This role would be suited to an individual who has lead and driven field sales teams before and has a passion for driving performance through first class training, onboarding & mentoring.
- Creative with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion to build and develop the on-trade business.
- Experienced leader who understands the importance of aligning the sales team internally around the company’s long-term strategies and fiscal plans
- Current on FCMG industry trends, market changes, and the use of new technology to drive in-store performance
- Experience coaching and developing training/curriculum materials and content
- Strong presentation skills and comfortable facilitating training
- Willingness to travel – this is a remote role however you will support a national field sales team which will require travel.
