This role will give you the opportunity to support the People Business Partner (Learning & Development) to shape and drive initiatives within the learning / performance area. Based in Edinburgh, this permanent position offers a hybrid working model and the chance to work across a variety of impactful projects.
Are you the kind of person our client is looking for?
- Proven experience in a similar Learning & Development or People Advisor role.
- A team player with strong collaboration skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Creative and self-sufficient, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data reporting.
- Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs.
- Experience with systems such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) or performance management tools (desirable).
- CIPD qualification or working towards it (desirable).
What can you expect from the day-to-day?
- Supporting the People Partner across five key areas: Learning & Development, Career Development, Performance & Development, Engagement, and Leadership Development.
- Assisting in the creation of learning and induction journeys for colleagues.
- Designing and delivering e-learning modules and workshop-style training.
- Acting as an expert in the implementation and management of LMS and performance management systems.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs through data analysis and feedback.
- Supporting the embedding of performance and career development frameworks, working with teams to update job profiles.
- Collaborating on colleague engagement initiatives, including surveys and wellbeing programs.
- Contributing to the design and delivery of leadership development workshops and digital learning solutions.
