Denholm is delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most innovative brand and social impact agencies, who are hugely successful in taking brands and brand experiences to young people through outreach and other activation projects/campaigns.
Work with an impressive roster of client, including household name brands like Sky, Dove, Warburtons and more, the Senior Account Manager role is key in providing commercial success to the agency, managing and growing client relationships, and working closely with Producers to successfully deliver projects or campaigns.
As Senior Account Manager, you help your clients shine by really understanding their business and helping them turn their brand objectives into quality, actionable briefs.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a key role within the client services team. To be successful you will:
- Structure and lead productive client conversations at all levels.
- Autonomously manage client relationships across campaigns.
- Develop and manage diverse, complex and integrated campaigns with the support of specialist Producers if required, successfully delivering for clients.
- Liaise/work with other agency departments to support the project or campaign.
- Management of multiple campaigns involving learning & development materials, market research/evaluation, video and digital content, sponsorship, partnerships.
- Identification & delivery of new business, supporting on business proposals/tenders.
- Independently create, develop and manage budgets ranging from £300k – £500k.
- Develop and deliver agreed client revenue targets and manage profitability.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, creative teams and production suppliers, including freelance staff and negotiating costs where appropriate.
- Improving profitability, productivity and effectiveness across accounts through clear processes and resources, sharing best practice and maximising client revenue.
- Supporting team members through the account management process of a campaign.
Who we’re looking for:
- 4 – 6 years of experience within an agency environment/Client Services role.
- Experience with managing and mentoring junior team members.
- Knowledge of wider financial processes and compliance.
- Ability to manage difficult conversations, keeping people focused on solutions.
- Ability to present with confidence.
- Be entrepreneurial in your approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent client service instincts and ability to be one step ahead at all times.
