This new role to the agency comes with considerable scope for development and learning, inputting into a wide variety of projects across all content channels.
You’ll be supporting a friendly team who are excited about the opportunities ahead, as they strive to deliver creative and effective content marketing strategies and solutions for clients.
What you’ll be doing:
Working with the financial team to ensure smooth delivery of excellent service to client accounts, to achieve or exceed retention, revenue and account profitability targets with responsibilities including:
- Work with team and internal stakeholders to ensure content marketing solutions and service delivery achieves the highest levels of client satisfaction at all times, as identified by client satisfaction surveys.
- Develop creative briefs and oversee all creative output and ensure measures are in place to critically appraise work before client review.
- Pre-empt and/or troubleshoot and resolve any concerns or areas of client dissatisfaction.
- Qualify all opportunities and co-ordinate internal stakeholders to develop winning creative solutions and ideas to present to prospects and clients.
- Lead management and process of client tenders and pitch development, bringing in the support of internal stakeholders, as required.
- Manage and process client billing and resolution of any invoicing issues or delays.
- Identifying suppliers, screening them for suitability and negotiating terms/SLAs.
- Ensure all projects across the account team are delivered on brief, on time and on budget, using well-defined internal/external briefing, scheduling and communications.
Who we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3- 5 years of account team experience in a BTL/integrated agency environment, preferably with a strong track record in financial services.
- Experience in a content marketing agency is highly desirable.
- Degree or CIM educated (or similar recognised marketing or publishing qualification).
- Consultancy approach to service delivery at a strategic level.
- High standards of numeracy, to support budgeting, forecasting and profit reporting.
- Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, Microsoft Project. Ability to adapt to in-house project management systems.
- Selling and negotiation skills.
- Strategic/analytic in outlook with ability to interrogate briefs and creative outputs.
- Ability to successfully co-ordinate a variety of projects across multiple clients.
- An accurate and systematic approach to work.
