Denholm’s client are an exciting Premium Spirits business that are looking for a switched on and vibrant individual to join their company in a varied executive level role. The role covers a wide spectrum of activities and responsibilities, a number being more basic yet key for the business to function efficiently and a number which will be more strategic and draw on the candidates marketing creativity and experience. Key to the role is excellent, pro-active organisation skills, a natural creative marketing mind, a real “can-do” and “want-to-do” attitude that is always wanting to aim as high as possible.
You will provide support to the Managing Director and the Regional Managers across a number of areas including Marketing, Business Planning, Customer Management and Logistics. This will entail the preparation of business reports and summaries each month, assisting with Brand Planning and providing each of the Regional Managers, their markets and the Brand Owners with critical insight and feedback.
You will also assist with various Marketing initiatives, helping to prepare Brand-Market Presentations, support exhibition preparations and new product launches. In addition you will get the chance to work on Market Sell-in tools (i.e. POS Design) and manage Brand Digital content when needed.
Further responsibilities will include administrative areas including the processing of distributor orders and tracking invoicing and accounts statuses, managing the database and being the central point of contact for Customers when the MD is travelling. As this key point of contact, you will be expected to respond to customer enquiries and complaints and manage these both internally and externally.
Of graduate calibre, the successful candidate will be a creative thinker and a self-starter with a pro-active approach. You will be a positive communicator with at least 3 years’ experience in the drinks industry. Along with this, you will have good IT skills that include Excel, PowerPoint & Photoshop. International exposure and knowledge of 1-2 other languages (other than fluent English) is also advantageous to your application.
