Senior Communications Executive
Denholm are very excited to be working exclusively with one of Scotland most iconic and luxurious five-star hotels, celebrated for its unique heritage and prestigious elegance. We are on the lookout for an exceptional candidate to come on board in a Senior Communications Executive capacity. You will in essence be the face of the brand, working across the local, British and global media. The role will sit within the marketing team and be responsible for how the hotel is represented internally and externally. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of managing their PR agency partners and liaising regularly with press and media contacts. Ensuring all editorial and feature opportunities are maximised and the tone, values and integrity of the brand are maintained at all times.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who has the gravitas to build and manage the hotel’s external communications relationships and also apply this same integrity and style of work with the numerous internal teams they’ll correspond with. You’ll thrive in luxury, look the part and have an obsession with detail. With a creative flair and excellent copywriting skills, you'll be able to create news-worthy stories that will capture the audiences imagination and further increase the profile of the business. You will know how to prioritise a busy work load and display commercial strategic thinking, knowing when to push back with the upmost diplomacy. This person will work on proactive and reactive press releases and be comfortable promoting the hotel’s numerous facilities when hosting media show rounds and familiarisation lunches/dinners.

You have worked in a similar role within the hospitality or luxury brands industry or perhaps are working for a PR / advertising agency, (particularly if already dealing with hospitality clients).
