Managing Director (Designate)
Denholm are delighted to have been retained to work on a Managing Director (Designate) role with Scotwork International.
Who Are Scotwork?
Simply put - their negotiation services help you compete on the world stage and win.
Founded in 1975, they revolutionised negotiations. At a time when very few courses existed, Scotwork conceived a completely new genre of negotiation training. They studied observational research from thousands of hours of commercial negotiations to identify common behavioural trends. This mass of data was then refined into a simple eight-step methodology.
From this, the Scotwork negotiation training course was born. Across the globe, Scotwork International help all kinds of public and private businesses, spanning every vertical from fintech and pharma to media and manufacturing.
Key Facts about Scotwork
Of 30,000 course participants questioned over the last 25 years, 96% said that Scotwork skills training had improved their negotiating performance.
Scotwork International run courses in 105 countries, supported by offices in 40 countries, in 25 difference languages. Their breadth and depth give local knowledge and the ability to deliver co-ordinated, multi-national programmes for clients.
You’ll be a senior commercial professional – ideally from a blue chip, or MNC – and you’ll be looking for your next ‘forever move’.
As Managing Director (Designate) you’ll serve a 5+ year apprenticeship (of sorts) under the current MD, learning everything there is to know about Scotwork – including becoming a master tutor and assessor of the courses themselves. You’ll lead a team of international offices; and be responsible for new business wins; international line management and assessing/enhancing the product offering of Scotwork International.
You’ll be looking to apply the skills and experience that you’ve gained over the past 10-15 years in a large enterprise to a small (but wide-reaching) business. You’ll be looking for a challenge and keen to grow, learn and develop on the job.
This is a home-based role, so you can be anywhere in the UK – but you must be willing to travel internationally for approximately 50% of the year.
With an excellent remuneration package and the chance to work with a truly great team of people – this really is a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’. For more information – please call Fiona @ Denholm today.
