They are a fast-growing business which has grown to £7m turnover in 10 years through organic growth and acquisition, with plans to double in the next 3 years. Strategic headcount growth of commercial departments such as sales and marketing is key to this.
We’re looking for a confident, proactive and driven individual to take on a Business Development Manager role within the growing sales team. You don’t necessarily need sales experience as you would have guidance and training from the Commercial Director, and would be working closely with the other internal BDM.
Responsibilities in the role include:
- Regular and proactive communication with existing and potential customers; building rapport and identifying opportunities for promotion and growth
- Ensuring that reporting is up to date and accurate
- Attend industry relevant events and conferences in the UK
The role would be well suited to someone that’s able to understand complex technical products, and explain their features and benefits to less technically minded contacts. The ideal candidate will also be confident, with great communication skills both written and verbal.
Hybrid working is available, with occasional travel to the Glasgow office.
