eCommerce Manager

Denholm are delighted to be working on an eCommerce Manager with a well-known retail brand, which can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh to suit. 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & eCommerce, this role will be perfect for someone with a real passion for eCommerce and retail – and a strong skills set in online merchandising, marketing and web optimisation. 

As eCommerce Manager, your duties will include:

  • Implementing a merchandising strategy to grow e-commerce revenue.
  • Regularly reviewing sales, with a clear understanding of margin and KPI's to identify and track the key drivers behind performance.
  • Setting-up and deliver improved daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting, in addition to ad hoc reports as required.
  • Using your expertise in web analytics to monitor product positions and conversion rates, being reactive in order to optimise sales by identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Conducting regular audits on the company's website to check all product details displayed are accurate and in line with other marketing activity. Ensure that product creation is carried out as efficiently as possible.
  • Website development to optimise site navigation, product placement & customer journey through UX and A/B testing to grow conversion rate and online sales.
  • Keeping up to date on e-commerce innovation and trends, monitoring competitor sites.
  • Working with external partners and agencies to continually improve online performance.
  • Implementation of online marketing and disciplines to deliver growth via SEO, PPC, display etc.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have 3+ years of eCommerce experience
  • Be incredibly well organized, analytical, with strong technical skills
  • Be able to multitask effectively and enjoy commercial focused problem solving
  • Have the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of and experience in using project management tools such as Jira (or similar) is highly preferred
  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can have an immediate impact on eCommerce success.

Head of Marketing for Vodka, Gin and RTDs

In this newly created role, the Head of Marketing for Vodka, Gin and RTDs will take full ownership for defining the direction the clear spirit brands take.

The role will offer the perfect balance of brand and trade marketing activities. Working with a category leading brand, you will have strong consumer branding knowledge which will allow to translate these brand activations into engaging brand stories and will help recruit the target audience into the brand halo. A strong commercial marketer, you will work with the Sales team to execute key marketing initiatives, ensuring that all brand executions produce a strong ROI through the P&L.

Head of Whisky Marketing

Denholm are delighted to be working exclusively with Loch Lomond Group; one of the most exciting and fast-growing global spirits companies in the country. To assist with their growth ambitions, they are looking to recruit a commercially astute and strategic marketer to join their team in a newly created role, as Head of Whisky Marketing.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Whisky will create and drive a comprehensive and strategic brand plan including positioning, range architecture and pricing strategy to allow delivery of the business growth ambitions. You will have a background of working with premium spirits and be confident in launching NPD and range extensions across the global marketplace, ensuring alignment to the brand values through promotional toolkits. In addition to a background in brand-building, with the consumer at the heart of global activations, you will have experience of leading brand communications across all platforms including digital, sponsorship, PR and Events.

The Head of Whisky will be a visionary thinker and will bring passion and enthusiasm to the role. You will have the ability to nurture and lead a high performing team to ensure that all strategic plans are translated into commercially successful activations.
