Denholm is working with one of the fastest growing consumer beauty brands at an exciting time, having seen their turnover double over the last 1-2 years. With this rapid international growth, they have an amazing opportunity for a Head of Marketing to join the team based in Glasgow. You will be joining a very creative business who are bold in their thinking and ideas.
The role will report to the Director of Marketing and work with them on all strategies across their key markets in the UK, EU and AUS, as well as leading the day-to-day execution of the UK and ROW team to drive growth across all 3 of their brands. You will provide a balance of both operational and strategic marketing with a strong focus in driving both short and long-term results across each facet of the marketing function. You will ensure that all design, development, and implementation of marketing strategies reflect the commercial requirements for the global business and expansion.
The role will oversee the day to day running of the UK and ROW marketing and social teams, developing key strategies, and driving completion of activities in line with objectives. This is a broad role that encompasses leading and inspiring the UK team, developing global brand partnerships to drive brand awareness and assisting in the management of all websites, promotional materials, social content, advertisements and other marketing assets and consumer touch points. With the retail a key sales channel, you will work with the Director of Marketing to establish strategies for each retail partner and then track and measure all marketing results and relevant sales data, creating detailed reports and presentations for the senior management team.
You will ideally be degree qualified and bring 5 years + experience within a consumer brand marketing position, along with a passion for beauty and an enthusiastic drive to be a part of a company that is innovating and disrupting the norms of the industry. You will bring good people management experience and the credibility to develop and nurture an ambitious and growing team. The team have a positive culture that embraces collaboration, and they need someone that can provide direction as well as giving the team room to fulfil their potential. You will be able to demonstrate a track record in running successful multi-channel campaigns and in particular an understanding of and passion for digital and social. With a strong creative vision and an ability to juggle multiple projects, you will have a customer focused attitude and an understanding of the target consumers the business is trying to reach.
