A fantastic, senior opportunity has arisen with Denholm for a Head of Sales & Marketing to join a highly innovative and forward thinking business in Edinburgh.

SignLive is one of the UK’s leading technology businesses in interpreting services for the deaf community. We are working in partnership with them as they are experiencing a period of sustained growth and look to strengthen their Business Development and Marketing Team with the addition of this senior individual.

The successful candidate will lead on a growth strategy, use their exiting contacts to get in front of key commercial companies, manage commercial marketing campaigns and continue to strengthen SignLive's position in the market place.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build commercial client base
  • Generate new business leads
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing/ new contacts
  • Lead Business Development Strategy and execution
  • Lead on Marketing Strategy and execution
  • Line Management & Leadership of Business Development Manager & Digital Media Executive

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales
  • Ability to influence through verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organisational skills, deadline management and time management
  • Self-starter – self motivate, work autonomously
  • Strong presentation skills

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience in sales of language/ interpretation services
  • Experienced in tech start-up company and/ or passion for technology
  • Awareness/ experience with the Deaf Community
  • You can be based anywhere in UK (however, prepared to attend quarterly meetings in Edinburgh)
