Denholm’s client, a leading Creative Agency providing world class expertise for ambitious brands, is seeking an inspirational Senior Planner to join their Newcastle based team. This award-winning agency have built their reputation on helping clients build powerful brands through engaging brand stories that are as unique as they are memorable. This is not a remote based role post-Covid, so a move to the North East is vital.
We’re after an energetic, creative and curious person who can come up with strategic points of view, help solve problems, overcome challenges, and unlock clients’ ambitions. The right person will be a natural-born truth-seeker, with a hunger to work out what really makes people, brands and culture tick. You’ll be a compelling storyteller who can write robust propositions and be adept at using a range of research and strategy approaches to find killer insights. You’ll develop bold, insight-driven work across brand positioning and identity, through to marketing, comms, advertising and digital experiences. The agency puts strategy and effectiveness at the very heart of everything they do.
The right person will find themselves becoming a valued strategic voice in the agency and for their clients, helping to deliver effective creative solutions. You’ll need to be a razor-sharp communicator, someone colleagues and clients will pay attention to. You’ll have the support of the Head of Planning and others in the agency, but you’ll be able to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and always hit deadlines. You’ll likely have at Minimum 5 years’ agency experience in a mid-weight or senior planning role, ideally in an integrated or advertising agency, but client-side consumer insight experience will also be considered. You will be inspiring and energising in order to help lead and motivate junior members of the team and the successful candidate will be credible with senior clients and capable of further developing the planning offering within the agency.
