My client, a leading spirits company, is are on a mission to create distinctive, memorable experiences of their award-winning Single Malt Whisky Brands.
The Whisky Marketing Executive plays an active role in the Global Experience Team, supporting the team to drive confidence and belief in their brands.
You will be the primary point of contact to coordinate the delivery of exceptional events. The role works between markets and brand homes ensuring the brand messages land at every touch point, while acting as the administration lead for the Whisky Experience team. As a key member of the Global Marketing Department, this role will support marketing programmes within the world of whisky.
- Support the systemisation of the Global Advocacy approach, by proactively driving the social media agenda across their network of Brand Specialists, globally and producing monthly reports
- Supporting their brand-led social media objectives, to build and raise their own social profiles and their influence with key accounts and targeted influencers.
- Provide Event Management and Support for all major brand and advocacy events; Organising tools, stock, materials and being there to manage the outcome of key events as required.
- Co-ordinate and support major Immersions for key brands
- Act as primary contact for the solutions, toolkits and assets produced by the team, ensuring they are up to date and contribute to the distribution of tools across markets.
- Distillery Visitor Centre Experience (30%)
· Support Brand Home Teams to coordinate internal (Corporate, Distributor and Customer) visits to the Distilleries, managing tracking and booking process.
· Produce and socialise monthly reports, including Visitor Centre Bookings, Sales and Point of Sale
· Co-ordinate and support major visits/distillery festivals/events and large multi-site visits.
· Be a super user for relevant internal systems
Whisky Communication (30%)
???????Collaborate with Comms and Whisky Discovery Team to:
· Coordinate world of whisky projects (E.g. Whisky Festivals in Scotland, Whisky Shows in key markets) as assigned
· Produce Measurement and Evaluation (be on the team rota for Social Listening and Media Monitoring)
· Ensure Distillery Visitor Information is accurate on Internal and External Platforms.
· Ensure the Project Whisky Advocacy Programme is incorporated within the integrated Employee Engagement Plan, in order build an army of internal ambassadors.
· Coordinate World of Whisky Media Engagement, with agreed On Trade and Media Engagement KPIs assigned to the Global Experience Team
Experience required:
- Previous experience in a busy marketing or events department
- Previous agency experience preferred.
- Proven track record of coordinating initiatives across cross functional stakeholders
- Experience in an office-based business environment would be an advantage.
- Experience within a hospitality business advantageous whether front of house, back of house or head office.
- Social media savvy, with an interest and understanding of social media platforms, content and measurement
