We have a new role for a recently qualified Accountant to join the expanding team at Warmworks. As their new Finance Manager, you will have access to opportunities and development whilst supporting the business on their growth journey.
Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the finance department whilst supporting a number of projects including overseeing invoicing.
Responsibilities include management and oversight of purchase and sales ledger, purchase orders, month-end reporting, management accounting and providing regular forecast and analysis.
You are a strong communicator who can build excellent stakeholder relationships and provide business partnering at senior management level.
You will have responsibility for leading a small team, ensuring all financial compliance and control measures are delivered and met, resolving issues as they arise. As part of the role, you will support the delivery of ad hoc projects and add process improvement when appropriate.
You will ideally be a fully qualified finance professional who holds a professional accounting qualification including CIMA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent. You have experience of working within a corporate environment with knowledge and understanding of UK accounting standards.
You are an effective communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and team members.
You are a self-starter who can use your own initiative to deliver and achieve objectives.
You will ideally have prior experience of leading and mentoring others. Experience of Navision would be advantageous.

Our aim is to combat illicit online trade by identifying and removing counterfeits for sale. Counterfeits not only damage brands, their reputations, and revenues, but can cause significant harm to the end customer – whether as a fake toy or a fake medicine – and the consequences can be life threatening.
Counterfeiting is a significant economic and social issue.
The OECD reports that counterfeit and fake goods make up more than 3.3% of the world’s global trade. Those involved in the trade of counterfeits have been linked to people trafficking, prostitution, and drug dealing.
As such, reducing illicit trade is about much more than brand protection but also about human rights, safety, and social equity.
