Global Marketing Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Beam Suntory in the prestigious role of Global Marketing Manager to work on their renowned Bowmore brand. An integral member of the global brand team, this is a key role to manage one of the world’s most collectable Single Malt Brands and be part of a highly talented team of individuals.
Reporting into the Senior Director for global Scotch & Irish Whiskey, you will support on the 12 year plan with a lead role in the 3 year Growth Planning Process for Bowmore with all key markets, as they look to accelerate the growth of this fantastic brand. Critical projects including range architecture, innovation, pricing and allocation strategy will all be central to your role, as well as other key projects fundamental to the Bowmore brand strategy. As the Bowmore lead, you will input into the performance process for the brand assessing the ‘what and why’ and making recommendations on actions. Exceptional leadership skills are essential, as you will work closely with cross functional teams on key brand innovation projects from initial concept development through to commercialisation in market. Critical to your role will be the development of the experience platform and programs for the Bowmore brand, ensuring world class assets are delivered according to market needs, and partnerships are leveraged.
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for international experience, ideally with exposure to Asian markets, with a solid background in brand management. Candidates will ideally have experience in the whisky category, but wider luxury spirits experience will be considered. You will be commercial astute, creative, with first class interpersonal and leadership skills, as this role requires significant cross functional involvement in the delivery of projects. Effective influencing skills are also vital with the ability to motivate and enthuse peers to ensure break through marketing.
