Digital Global Brand House Lead

As a result of growth and investment, we are looking to recruit a strategic and progressive Digital Global Brand House Lead for Beam Suntory. This newly created role will be a key part of the Global Brand House for the Scotch, Gin and Irish portfolios and, working closely with a number of stakeholders in the business including brand and communications teams will serve as the digital champion to build and develop these incredible brands across the digital stage.

Working closely with the associated Brand Teams, the Digital Global Brand House Lead will provide expert digital ‘interpretation’ of brand communications – facilitating both planned and reactive digital activity.

This will ensure ‘digital’ is fully integrated in all communications and campaign activity and will facilitate agile and reactive response as part of the overarching digital strategy. 

This is a highly strategic role which will have accountability for leading the global transformation of the Scotch, Gin and Irish Brand House. Critically, the successful candidate will define the full ‘digital ecosystem’, formulate the DTC plan for the individual brands and implement the operating model(s).

There is significant opportunity for innovative development and the Global Brand House Lead will have ownership of the CRM strategy and roll-out ad as such, strong experience in this area is essential. As part of the Digital Delivery, the role will also have ownership of the Global Brand website and will collaborate with the global website team to establish strategy and CX. 

The role will be a touchpoint for all digital activity and provide the expertise to facilitate comprehensive executions across all ecosystem pillars including leading on the development of the eCommerce experience. The success of role is underpinned by multi-stakeholder management with cross functional support. We are looking at candidates with strong strategic ownership and a true breadth and depth of digital management – whilst not being entirely removed from the ‘hands-on’ implementation.

We are looking to speak to candidates from sectors with strong digital innovation which could provide real value for transforming the digital delivery. Candidates from a spirits, digital agency, luxury or e-retail background who are able to bring ‘best in class’ digital practices are of particular interest.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Whisky will create and drive a comprehensive and strategic brand plan including positioning, range architecture and pricing strategy to allow delivery of the business growth ambitions. You will have a background of working with premium spirits and be confident in launching NPD and range extensions across the global marketplace, ensuring alignment to the brand values through promotional toolkits. In addition to a background in brand-building, with the consumer at the heart of global activations, you will have experience of leading brand communications across all platforms including digital, sponsorship, PR and Events.

The Head of Whisky will be a visionary thinker and will bring passion and enthusiasm to the role. You will have the ability to nurture and lead a high performing team to ensure that all strategic plans are translated into commercially successful activations.

The Loch Lomond Group are seeking a commercially-savvy Sponsorship and Events Manager to join the marketing team.

You will be responsible for developing Loch Lomond Group's sponsorship and events strategy and delivering a program of activities and partnerships that will support the business growth ambitions. Other responsibilities include managing renewals and negotiations, overseeing communication with sponsors as well as aligning business and market needs.
