Parsley Box is a family business, started in summer 2017 when founders, Gordon and Adrienne MacAulay, were looking for a home delivery meal service for Gordon’s mother Anne. Their goal has always been to build the kind of company they want to see in the market – one that delivers a variety of high quality meals, as well as a personalised and friendly service.
The Parsley Box mission is to promote, support and celebrate independent living through a range of food which is made to be enjoyed.
Our operations, including our contact centre, are based in our head office in Edinburgh city centre. Customers choose to place orders online or by phone, and we handle over 60,000 calls a month. With over 25,000 new customers joining the community of ‘Parsley People’ each month, our ambition is to grow our active customer base to 1 million plus in the next 3 years.

In this newly created role, you’ll be tasked with leading on the strategy and execution of customer retention activities across all channels.
You’ll report into our Marketing Director, and as Retention Strategy Manager you’ll be responsible for the development and delivery of retention marketing campaigns, as well as the analysis of our database to derive actionable insights. Your findings will guide marketing campaign activities but will also steer actions for continuous improvement throughout the business.
