New opportunities...

We’re searching for a new Marketing Assistant and Content Executive to join our team.

Our new Marketing Assistant will support all areas of the marketing function. You’ll be organising and hosting events, email marketing and social media management, as well as creating content for a variety of on and offline channels. This is a great generalist role for someone with some work experience in industry, but looking to really apply themselves and expand o their skills. 

Marketing Assistant

What will you be doing in this role?

Event Management: You will be responsible for planning, organising and following up on all ESPC events. Normally these will be held in their George St. office, however for now they will be going ahead virtually.

Social Media: You will be responsible for managing the companies social channels, and growing these organically. You will work with a content calendar but also be coming up with innovative and timely content to push out.

Writing copy: We are looking for someone who can write copy for B2B and B2C audiences, for social media, website, weekly newsletters, brochures, etc.

Email marketing: You will support in the writing of weekly newsletters, for member communication and also but-to-let newsletters.

Reporting: As well as carrying out the activity, you will analyse and report on successes. This will be used to shape the marketing content moving forward.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree qualified
  • Experience working in a marketing team
  • Some event management experience, and the drive to be involved in a forward facing role

  • Good understanding of how e-marketing works

Content Executive

Our new Content Executive will be the voice of ESPC and vital to growing and developing our PR and PA work. We’ve made massive gains in these areas in the last 12 months and are keen to ensure that this continues in 2021 and beyond. We’ve also been a crucial hub of information online about the impact COVID has had on the property market.

That thirst for knowledge is only growing and you will ensure the need is found and met!

We have a clear structure, with everyone taking ownership of their specialism, working collaboratively to push the boundaries, improve on their services and offer a market leading service to the property market.

The successful candidate will be in a fortunate position where they are given autonomy on their work, whilst having the support of the team around them to help develop their skills.

What will you be doing in this role?

  •  You will be responsible for writing engaging content for on and offline platforms, and adapting content to suit a variety of B2B and B2C channels
  • You will identify stories that market data tells and translating this into appropriate press releases, online content and magazine editorial
  • You will spend a good chunk of your time creating the monthly magazine
  • You will be the driving force behind all PR activities, ensuring ESPC have strong representation in the media and they are positioned as the voice of the Scottish property market
  • You will liaise with media contacts as the ESPC spokesperson

Communication Lead

We’re a passionate and professional team who thrive in issue-rich environment and we’re looking to add a Communication Lead to our fast-growing team. Our Environment

Communication Advisors

You’ll have previous agency experience at Senior Account Manager or Account Manager level and be passionate about delivering excellent results for clients. You might be a specialist in PR and media relations who produces compelling editorial content across a range of topics and sectors or you might be a public affairs expert who understands the policy landscape and helps clients build influential relationships. Whatever your specialism, you’ll be an excellent writer, full of creative ideas, with proven client management experience and the ability to provide expert advice our clients.

Your key duties will include:

  • Supporting the key account lead with day-to-day client liaison, providing strategic counsel on day-to-day account matters when required
  • Active involvement in planning and delivering global PR, marketing and digital campaigns
  • Managing content programmes, including mapping out content themes, spotting industry trends and story angles, writing copy when required which may include opinion articles, web and social
  • Building strong media relationships, creating pitches based on your story ideas and delivering content in-to suit the client’s target media and securing opportunities
  • Planning and running client’s social media programmes, and management of their channels
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to grow brand awareness and profile our client’s businesses within their target sector through events, webinars, thought leadership
  • Producing comprehensive and timely reports on client activity 
  • Supporting in the development of client proposals to help grow or win parts of the business


In addition, to be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven background in account handling and direct client liaison – 4 years’ minimum
  • Experience in an agency setting focusing on B2B communication or PR
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written
  • A background in delivering creative, digitally led B2B communications such as LinkedIn campaigns
  • An innate understanding of earned media, with the ability to create stories and generate coverage across traditional media, digital and social
  • Experience working on content management programmes, with an awareness of the changing way business audiences consume information and an appreciation of search, paid and wider customer marketing activity, and how it all fits together
  • A history of working with clients in a variety of sectors is welcomed but experience in the tech and energy industries is advantageous.

Counterfeits not only damage brands, their reputations, and revenues, but can cause significant harm to the end customer – whether as a fake toy or a fake medicine – and the consequences can be life threatening.

The OECD reports that counterfeit and fake goods make up more than 3.3% of the world’s global trade. Those involved in the trade of counterfeits have been linked to people trafficking, prostitution, and drug dealing.
