The right hire for Dexcom

Dexcom had been searching for a Consumer Growth & Performance Marketing Manager for six months before getting in touch with Denholm. It was the sort of role that looks straightforward on paper but in reality, finding someone with the right experience, the right mindset and the right fit for the business took much longer than they expected.

The process

The search began on 1 May 2026. A key part of the process was developing a detailed understanding of Caroline's leadership style, priorities and what success would look like in the role. Through these discussions, it became clear that whilst experience was important, Caroline was willing to consider developmental candidates who demonstrated the right aptitude, attitude and potential to succeed.

The outcome was a high-quality shortlist that balanced immediate capability with long-term potential, aligned closely with both the practical requirements of the role and Caroline's preferred leadership and team dynamic.

The outcome

An offer was accepted on 4 June 2026, bringing a six-month search to a successful conclusion in just over a month. Sheetal Vasnaani joined Dexcom as Consumer Growth & Performance Marketing Manager. What stood out most wasn't the speed of the hire, but the feedback that followed.
