Denholm Unzipped: How are CMOs reshaping their teams for AI?

Over the last decade, marketing teams have become increasingly complex. More channels, more content, more specialisation, and constant pressure to deliver at greater speed. AI is beginning to change the economics of that model. Not overnight, but enough that many senior marketers are starting to rethink team structures, capability gaps, and where human judgement and creativity add the most value.

On 26th May in Edinburgh, we’re bringing together a small group of senior marketing leaders for a discussion on how these changes are beginning to play out in practice.

Rather than focusing on AI theory or tools, the conversation will explore what people are actually seeing inside marketing functions:

  • how roles and responsibilities are changing
  • where AI is genuinely useful and where it isn’t
  • what capabilities teams are struggling to build
  • how leaders are thinking about creativity, efficiency, and decision-making

The session is designed to be open, discussion-led, and grounded in real experience.

Speakers include:

  • Ed Vickers, Co-founder, Loop Agencies
  • Lucy Henderson, Former CMO, AG Barr
  • Cara Chambers, CMO, C&C Group
  • Gemma Spiers, CMO, Forvis Mazars
  • Marisa Carroll, COO, Denholm Associates

Places are limited to keep the discussion focused and conversational.
