Tennent's has been brewed at Wellpark since 1885. Bulmers and Magners sit alongside it in a portfolio built on category leadership, not just shelf space. C&C Group is looking for someone who can turn shopper data and market trends into decisions that shape how beer and cider are sold across the UK.
This is a Category Development Manager role based in Glasgow, working at the centre of Group Marketing. You will sit close to the brands, close to the retailers, and close to the numbers that decide what happens next.
You will own the category story for beer and cider, from market analysis through to the recommendation that lands on a retailer's desk.
You will join a team of five within Group Marketing, reporting to the Consumer & Market Insight Director. The role is hybrid, based from C&C's Glasgow office.
This is a role with genuine reach. You will work across some of the UK's most recognised drinks brands, with a direct line into the decisions that shape how they perform in market.
C&C Group is a premium drinks company built around brands with real history: Tennent's, Bulmers, Magners, and a growing stable of craft and premium names including Drygate, Orchard Pig and Heverlee. It manufactures, markets and distributes across the UK and Ireland, with production rooted in Glasgow and Tipperary.
This role exists because category thinking is becoming central to how C&C wins with retailers. It is a chance to build that function's influence from a position of real credibility.
Category roles inside big drinks businesses can end up buried in reporting. This one is not that. It sits close to the Consumer & Market Insight Director, with a direct line to retailers and a mandate to shape decisions, not just document them. If you want your insight to change what actually happens on shelf, we would like to talk to you in confidence.
