Harley Haddow has built something that engineers, developers and architects keep coming back to. Now the business wants marketing to match.
A period of real growth has prompted a restructure, and part of that means bringing in a permanent Head of Marketing for the first time. There's a team here. There's a plan. There's a business that's ready to back this properly. What's missing is the person to lead it.

head of marketingContinuing to evolve. Finding smarter ways to design, better ways to support our clients and more opportunities for our people to grow through the kind of projects that have defined Harley Haddow for more than 70 years.
The marketing function is growing with us and the Head of Marketing will lead the way. The plan for 26/27 is already built and in motion. From January 2027, they'll own the strategy for 27/28 and everything that comes with it.
COMMIT - Taking ownership of all aspects of your work, promoting a ‘one team’ approach and being the best that you can.
DEVELOP – Building strong relationships internally and externally, focussing on delivery through continuous development and developing solutions for a sustainable today.
LEAD – Strive to lead in your discipline, continuously exceed client expectations and always be open, honest and transparent with your communication.
Part of what makes this opportunity so appealing is growing alongside a business that is still building what comes next.
Marketing at Harley Haddow is evolving quickly, with real backing from the leadership team and genuine scope to shape how the function develops over time. The foundations are in place, but there is still plenty of room to influence the direction, the priorities and the future structure of the team.
We also support professional qualifications through accredited training schemes, fund professional memberships of your choice, and back continuous learning at every level. As Associate Director Daniel Ross put it: the investment in education alongside real on-the-job experience was invaluable.
Harley Haddow has grown through good work, strong relationships and a genuinely hands-on culture. Even as the business grows, it still feels collaborative, grounded and full of people who want to build something together.
Further. We have no Marketing Director in post and we're in no rush to create an arbitrary ceiling. The right person will earn that progression by delivering the plan, building the relationships and shaping the strategy.
Harley Haddow has built a culture where people are trusted to take ownership, contribute meaningfully and grow through real experience. Directors remain closely involved in the day-to-day business, creating an environment where mentoring, coaching and collaboration are part of how people work together.
Our staff represent the UKs increasingly diverse community. Ethnic minority and female staff are in positions from Director to graduate entry level. ‘Fortify’, Harley Haddow’s Employee DEIB Network is employee-run and is a building block to bring about positive growth towards increased diversity and awareness in creating a safe space for open discussion.
The historical perception of who can be an engineer is thankfully changing, and we are proudly and actively encouraging this. There is a long way to go, but through our work with local schools and STEM activities we encourage children of all genders, backgrounds and ethnicities to learn about and hopefully actively consider a career in engineering or the construction industry
