This is a business in the middle of a significant next chapter. Isle of Barra Distillers has grown from its first bottle of gin in 2017 into a range of island-crafted spirits, and is now developing a purpose-built Whisky and Gin Distillery and Visitor Centre.
The new site is planned to include whisky production, bonded warehousing, bottling facilities and visitor hospitality.
For a small team, that creates the prospect of being close to meaningful growth and helping shape what comes next.
