This is a newly created standalone HR role supporting a fast-paced, sales-driven SME in Bristol, with real scope to make it your own.

You will work closely with the local senior leadership team to drive day-to-day HR activity, coach managers and help embed the right people practices across the business. Working as part of a wider group structure, you will also partner with the Group Head of People & Culture on people projects, process improvements, policy standardisation and ongoing change activity across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being visible within the business, building strong relationships with managers and operating as the go-to HR person on site.

How you'll make your mark

  • Coach and support managers on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Lead on employee relations including absence, disciplinaries, grievances and performance management.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activity.
  • Drive improvements to HR processes, policies and ways of working.
  • Support change projects, restructures and wider people initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider group HR function to align standards and practices.
  • Support HR systems, reporting and data management activity.
