Denholm Associates is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading, innovative healthcare organisation to appoint a Consumer Growth & Performance Marketing Manager for the UK & Ireland.
This is not a brand or communications role. This is a hands-on, commercially accountable growth position where you will take full ownership of acquisition, conversion and revenue performance – operating within a regulated environment where both performance and patient confidence matter.
You will be empowered to make decisions, optimise investment and drive measurable outcomes.
The Role
You will own and scale the organisation’s consumer growth engine, driving performance across paid media, conversion optimisation, CRM and the full DTC funnel.
This role requires someone who is comfortable being directly accountable for CAC, ROAS, conversion and revenue growth, and confident making informed trade-offs to maximise performance.
You will operate across two distinct growth routes:
- Direct-to-consumer acquisition and conversion
- Healthcare system-mediated demand, requiring a nuanced, compliant approach
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Growth Marketing (Core Focus)
- Own and optimise paid media strategy and budget across TV & BVOD, Meta, Google (Search & YouTube), Programmatic, Affiliates and emerging channels
- Drive acquisition efficiency and revenue growth, with clear accountability for CAC and ROAS
- Continuously optimise audiences, creative, bidding strategies and funnel performance
- Build and execute a structured test-and-learn roadmap – scaling what works and stopping what doesn’t
- Ensure marketing investment is clearly tied to commercial outcomes
Conversion & eCommerce Optimisation
- Own the end-to-end DTC funnel, from initial engagement through to purchase and onboarding
- Identify friction points and lead CRO initiatives to improve conversion and retention
- Partner closely with UX, eCommerce and analytics teams to prioritise impactful improvements
CRM, Retention & Lifetime Value
- Lead lifecycle marketing across email, re-order, win-back and education journeys
- Improve customer lifetime value through retention and re-engagement strategies
- Ensure CRM activity supports paid media efficiency and long-term growth
Data, Insight & Decision-Making
- Translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Lead testing and optimisation programmes grounded in data and insight
- Use performance signals to guide investment decisions and prioritisation
Cross-Functional & Agency Leadership
- Lead media agencies with clear KPIs, governance and optimisation cadence
- Collaborate with Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Commercial teams to ensure compliant execution
- Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to align spend with ROI
Brand, Content & Community (as growth enablers)
- Work with Brand, PR and Community teams to ensure activity supports acquisition and conversion
- Optimise messaging and creative for performance while maintaining compliance standards
What Success Looks Like (12 Months)
- Paid media scaled with controlled or improved efficiency
- Clear linkage between marketing investment and revenue outcomes
- Measurable improvements in conversion rates and funnel performance
- A strong optimisation culture embedded across media, CRO and CRM
- Senior stakeholders confident in the performance narrative and decision-making
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Proven experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally within DTC or eCommerce environments
- Hands-on ownership of paid media budgets and optimisation
- Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, attribution and funnel performance
- Experience working cross-functionally and managing agency partners
- Experience in regulated sectors (e.g. healthcare, financial services) is advantageous but not essential

- Commercially focused and comfortable owning performance metrics
- Data-led decision maker with a strong test-and-learn mindset
- Pragmatic and outcome-oriented, able to make clear trade-offs
- Confident communicator, able to simplify complex performance insights
Tools & Platforms
- Paid media platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, Programmatic)
- Analytics and BI tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau or equivalent)
- CRM and lifecycle platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Veeva)
- CRO and experimentation frameworks
