Denholm Associates

Senior Marketing Analyst

Job Ref: 10966

This is a 9 month fixed term contract.

The opportunity you've been waiting for

If you like being the person who turns "what's happening?" into "here's what we should do next", this one will appeal.

Golden Charter is investing heavily in its marketing and data capability, and this role sits right in the middle of that. You'll own how marketing performance is understood, reported and used, giving you real influence over decisions, not just dashboards.

How you'll make your mark

You'll be the go-to for marketing insight. The person who connects the data to what the business actually needs to know.

  • Own Power BI across marketing, from dashboard design through to ongoing development.
  • Build reporting that people actually use, not just look at once.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting with clear commercial insight.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to understand what they need from the data.
  • Act as the link between marketing and wider data teams.
  • Get into the detail when data issues arise and help resolve them.
  • Support campaign analysis, KPI tracking and performance reviews.
  • Contribute to wider projects, including app, loyalty and performance analysis work.
  • Help push a more data-informed way of thinking across the team.

What's in it for you

  • £50,000 to £55,000 salary.
  • 6% employer pension contribution.
  • 35-hour working week.
  • 28 days holiday plus flexible bank holidays and buy and sell scheme.
  • Medicash including dental, optical, physio and virtual GP.
  • Life assurance at 4x salary.
  • £1,000 flexible benefits allowance.
  • Hybrid working, with around two office days per month.
  • Extras like weekly on-site massage.

A bit more about Golden Charter

Denholm's take

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys the commercial side of data, not just the technical side.

You'll need to be comfortable talking to stakeholders, challenging thinking and explaining what the numbers actually mean. If you like having that kind of influence, and want your work to be seen and used, this is a good one.
