Seventy-plus years. 170 people. Offices from Inverness to London. Harley Haddow has built something that engineers, developers and architects keep coming back to. Now the business wants marketing to match.
A period of real growth has prompted a restructure, and part of that means bringing in a permanent Head of Marketing for the first time. There's a team here. There's a plan. There's a business that's ready to back this properly. What's missing is the person to lead it.
You'll own marketing across the business, working with Directors, regional teams, and the Head of Client Relationships to make sure marketing makes a major impact across bids, client engagement, and business development. A big part of this role is earning trust internally with key stakeholders from board level and right across the wider business, helping everyone understand what good marketing can deliver in terms of value.
You'll have senior B2B marketing experience and a solid grasp of how marketing supports business development and bids. A background in the built environment is essential: engineering, construction, property, or related professional services. You will be comfortable working with technical people, translating what they and the business needs into a plan, and bring a small team with you.
Harley Haddow is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy covering Geotechnical, Civil and Structural, Mechanical and Electrical, Building Performance and Sustainability. Seven offices. Over 170 people. A track record built on doing good work and client retention.
The practice has grown steadily and deliberately, and the culture has kept pace with it. An investment in marketing that reflects where the business is heading.
This one is well-timed. Harley Haddow has the brand, the clients, and the growth story. Marketing has support at Director level and a team already in place. The person coming in gets to set the agenda, build the function properly, and grow it over time.
