The Marketing Society has spent years building something genuinely worth being part of in Scotland. A community of senior marketers, business leaders and ambitious brands who show up because it means something to them. As Director for Scotland, you'll be the person who keeps that energy alive and takes it further.
This is a senior, autonomous role with real profile. You'll lead the Scottish operation, shape its direction and be its most visible face in the market.
You'll own the day-to-day running of the Scotland operation and drive its growth. That means deepening relationships with existing members, bringing new ones in, and making sure the Society stays front of mind across the industry.
The role spans commercial and community in equal measure. You'll work with sponsors and partners, shape the events calendar and create the kinds of moments that make people want to be in the room.
The right person brings a mix of strategic thinking and practical delivery. You'll be comfortable presenting to a room of senior stakeholders one day and sorting the detail the next. Both matter here.
Backgrounds in marketing, partnerships, membership, commercial development or community-led roles are all relevant. What ties them together is the ability to build relationships, open doors and make things happen.
The Marketing Society is a global membership organisation built around bold marketing leadership. Its Scotland chapter has developed a strong reputation over many years, bringing together some of the most influential people in the country's marketing and business community.
The network is well established, the brand is well respected and the community is engaged. This role exists to build on that foundation and help shape what comes next.
This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, connecting people and building something with real credibility behind it. The Marketing Society has earned its place in Scotland's business community. This is an opportunity to lead it from the front.
If this sounds like the right move, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
