Support Administrator

Job Ref: 11058

The opportunity you've been waiting for

Five specialist teams. Five offices across the UK and Europe. One person keeping the administrative engine running behind them all.

Our client is a specialist consultancy in the energy sector, working across power markets, energy networks, and demand side research, with teams in London, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Paris and Berlin. As they grow, they need a Support Administrator who can bring order to billing, contracts and client records across every team, and build real relationships with the people behind them.

This is a part-time role, 16 to 24 hours a week, with the flexibility to shape around the rest of your life.

How you'll make your mark

You'll own the administrative processes that keep client relationships on track, from the first contract to the last invoice.

Key deliverables

  • Manage invoicing and billing so clients are charged accurately and on time.
  • Onboard new clients onto internal systems, setting them up for a smooth start.
  • Keep the Subscriber Book current, adding new entries and maintaining accurate records across all services.
  • Update and maintain CRM records, including new contacts and account changes.
  • Support revenue and KPI tracking, and the process for renewing client accounts.
  • Spot opportunities to improve administrative processes and systems, and put them into action.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal and Compliance teams to keep contract administration aligned.

What you bring

  • Experience of invoicing and billing processes.
  • Confidence working across CRM, billing and finance software, and picking up new systems quickly.
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and build relationships with people across different teams.
  • Experience with Power BI dashboards is a plus, though not essential.

What's in it for you

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 pro rata

Hybrid working, with the pattern shaped around the role and team. 26 days annual leave pro rata, plus bank holidays, most of which can be taken flexibly.

  • Private medical insurance and digital GP access.
  • Life assurance at six times salary, plus income protection.
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
  • Competitive pension and a discretionary bonus scheme.
  • Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, cycle to work scheme, and season ticket loans.
  • Access to internal Wellbeing, LGBTQ+, Multicultural and Women's networks.

A bit more about the company

Our client provides consulting, technology and subscription research across power markets, energy networks, strategy and transactions, and demand side services. Clients often work with them across several of these areas at once, which is exactly why this role exists: someone who can tailor support to each team's needs while keeping the wider system consistent.

It's a business built on long term relationships, both with clients and within its own teams, and this role sits close to the centre of both.

Denholm's take

This isn't a role where you'll sit quietly in the background. Five teams, five offices, and a genuine appetite for someone who spots a better way of doing things and just does it. If you like variety and want your organisational skills to actually be noticed, this is worth a confidential conversation.
