From welcoming visitors and keeping meeting rooms ready to managing suppliers, stock, access and day-to-day admin, you’ll have a role people feel the value of every day. Based in Edinburgh, you’ll work 25 hours a week with some flexibility required. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues, teams across the office and external suppliers, with plenty of variety across the week.
How you'll make your mark
You’ll take ownership of the practical details that keep the office safe, welcoming and well organised. That includes:
Greeting staff, visitors and contractors, managing access cards and visitor records.
Managing meeting rooms, catering, events and office presentation.
Coordinating maintenance visits, cleaning, pest control, planting and other facilities suppliers.
Keeping facilities, vendor, access and compliance records accurate and up to date.
Managing office supplies, purchasing and invoices.
Supporting health and safety checks, fire safety, first aid and environmental processes.
Welcoming new joiners and helping them get settled into the office.
Supporting senior colleagues with documents, presentations, diaries, meetings, travel and general administration.
Keeping internal systems, contacts and intranet information accurate.
Experience in a similar office, facilities or administration role will help. You’ll also need confidence with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus strong written English and an eye for detail.
