We’ve partnered with Scottish SPCA – Scotland’s leading voice for animals – rescuing, rehoming, and rehabilitating thousands of animals each year.
We’re looking for 2 x Communications Officers to join the talented comms team where you’ll play a key role in protecting and enhancing the reputation of Scotland’s leading animal welfare charity.

We’re looking for…
- A solid grounding in comms – with a particular focus on press, advising senior colleagues and content creation
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills across a mix of formats
- Fantastic communications skills aimed at a variety of audiences
- An understanding of the news landscape
- A strong interest in animal welfare
- Driving licence would be beneficial here
You will be…..
- Leading the delivery of proactive and reactive PR activity
- Identifying and developing media opportunities aligned with campaigns, services and strategy
- Supporting the delivery of the organisation’s communications strategy
- Developing media campaigns
- Supporting project teams with comms planning and delivery for key campaigns
- Creating engaging copy cross a range of channels
- Building longstanding relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
