MAKING DEI PART OF THE EVERY DAY
A force for good
Looking forward we know there is still much to be done and we are in the early stages of our diversity, equity and inclusion journey. We have a dedicated DEI steering group who act as advisors to the rest of the business.
This group comprises eight individuals, including a Board member and a colleague from our senior leadership team. Our team is exactly 50/50 split between men and women, six out of eight voices on our leadership team are women and a total of five women have recently been promoted.
This shows our dedication to addressing equality and the gender gap, ensuring Denholm is a progressive place to work where our employees feel valued.
Being an ally
We all have a part to play in the creation of an inclusive culture. We must create an environment where employees have the courage and confidence to be an active ally for diversity, and accountable for building a respectful environment.
Through regular Inclusive Behaviour Training, we strive to shape an educated team who are responsible for the practical application of our policy every day. Several policies and procedures are available to any employee who believes they may have been unfairly discriminated against.
Disciplinary action will be taken against any employee who is found to have committed an act of unlawful discrimination. Serious breaches of this policy will be treated as an act of gross misconduct.
