Our client, a forward-thinking and award-winning HR consultancy, is seeking a Senior HR Consultant to join their expanding team in Edinburgh on a hybrid basis.

The successful candidate will bring both expertise and enthusiasm to this dynamic role, demonstrating:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR with strong practical knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
- Proven ability to deliver commercially focused HR advice that drives results for clients.
- Excellent communication and listening skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
- A proactive, consultative and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it).
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to client sites and office locations as required.
What can you expect from the day-to-day?
No two days will be the same. As a Senior HR Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes – from start-ups and scaling SMEs to established organisations – supporting them with practical and strategic HR solutions. You’ll be involved in:
- Providing pragmatic HR and employment advice across a variety of sectors.
- Guiding clients through employee relations cases, from performance management to complex investigations.
- Reviewing and enhancing clients’ HR frameworks, policies, and documentation.
- Advising leadership teams on best practice in recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention.
- Supporting clients in building inclusive, values-driven workplace cultures.
- Coaching and mentoring line managers to improve people management capability.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of client toolkits and internal processes.
