Senior HR Advisor
📍 Edinburgh | 💼 Full-time | 🌟 Hybrid (3-4 days in the office)
Are you an experienced HR professional who loves working at pace and thrives in an environment where no two days are ever quite the same? Do you enjoy balancing the strategic with the hands-on, from managing employee relations to driving engagement and supporting managers through the ups and downs of people management? If that sounds like you, this could be just the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
This is a brilliant chance to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation on the outskirts of Edinburgh, a business that values its people as much as its performance. You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team that’s making a real difference every day, with plenty of scope to put your own stamp on things.
Working closely with the Senior HR Manager, line managers, and colleagues across the business, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support and driving continuous improvement across all areas of the employee lifecycle – from onboarding and engagement, to performance, reward, and wellbeing.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Acting as a trusted partner to line managers, offering practical and professional HR advice across a range of people matters.
-
Taking ownership of employee relations cases, handling them confidently and with a calm, balanced approach.
-
Supporting and leading HR projects that align with the wider People strategy and business goals.
-
Reviewing and enhancing policies, processes, and reporting to help the team work smarter and add value.
-
Getting involved in recruitment, onboarding, and talent initiatives to support growth and development.
-
Championing engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives across the business.
What we’re looking for:
-
Proven experience in a generalist HR role within a fast-paced, commercial environment.
-
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
-
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
-
Solid experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
-
Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR Advisor ready to step up – or an established Senior HR Advisor looking for a new challenge in a dynamic business where your ideas will be heard and your contribution truly valued.
You’ll be joining a supportive team, trusted to deliver, and encouraged to bring fresh thinking to the table. It’s a place where you can really grow your career while making a meaningful impact.
