GDK (German Doner Kebab) is one of the fastest-growing QSR brands in the world – they’re about to open their 150th restaurant in the UK and are really just getting started! We’re keen to talk to individuals for their new ‘Marketing Data Analyst’ position in the GDK UK team.
This is a key role that sits at the heart of the marketing team and will directly influence marketing strategies, insights and activations across the business in a collaborative working environment.
*With headquarters in East Kilbride, you’ll need to be accessible to here for hybrid working (3-4 days on-site) – free parking on-site and great transport links.
What we’re looking for:
- A big believer that “data is king” and be comfortable converting customer & sales data/analysis into easily digestible outputs
- Experience in driving short term marketing activations that drive profitable decisions / sales
- Inquisitive and curious nature with a real test & learn attitude to come up with the best solutions for the business
- Experience of working within a customer-focussed business such as retail, hospitality or potentially agency-side would be a bonus
- Strong affinity for numbers, including manipulating, analysing and turning data into information & insights whilst being able to communicate your findings clearly in an accessible way to all levels
- A lovely, social person that will get on with the Marketing & wider teams
What you’ll be doing:
- Utilising BI analytics, CRM data and other reports to influence marketing decisions
- Running weekly and ad-hoc reports for marketing team and other departments
- Inputting into the new upcoming App/Loyalty scheme
- Regularly reviewing sales, aggregator performance, store & menu trends and brand tracking data to uncover insights, opportunities, and threats
- Informing and potentially triggering the planning, activation and evaluation of all marketing campaigns and activations
