Senior People & Culture Adviser
Bristol | Permanent
Our client is looking to appoint a Senior People & Culture Adviser to join their Bristol operation in a newly created standalone HR role supporting a fast-paced, sales-driven SME environment.
This is a hands-on generalist opportunity where you will work closely with the local senior leadership team to drive day-to-day HR activity, coach managers, and help embed the right people practices across the business.
Working as part of a wider group structure, you will also partner with the Group Head of People & Culture, based in another location, supporting wider people projects, process improvements, policy standardisation, and ongoing change activity across the organisation.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being visible within the business, building strong relationships with managers, and operating as the go-to HR person on site. You will need to be comfortable balancing operational HR delivery with continuous improvement activity in a growing and evolving environment.
Key areas of focus will include:
* Coaching and supporting managers on day-to-day HR matters
* Employee relations including absence, disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activity
* Driving improvements to HR processes, policies and ways of working
* Supporting change projects, restructures and wider people initiatives
* Working collaboratively with the wider group HR function to align standards and practices
* Supporting HR systems, reporting and data management activity
We are keen to speak with HR professionals who have strong generalist experience within fast-paced commercial environments and who enjoy operating in a broad, visible and hands-on role. Previous experience within SME, sales-led, automotive, leasing, distribution or customer-focused environments would be advantageous.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine impact locally while also contributing to wider group people initiatives.
