You know private client tax inside out. You can untangle complex tax matters, give clients advice they can act on, and help others sharpen their technical expertise. Now you can put that knowledge to work at a senior level, with a genuine say in how a department grows.
We're looking for an experienced private client tax specialist to lead complex client work, build trusted relationships and help shape the direction of a growing private client offering. You'll combine hands-on technical advice with team leadership, commercial thinking and the freedom to make a real contribution.
If you're ready to be the person clients turn to for their most challenging tax questions, and the person colleagues turn to for guidance, this role deserves a closer look.
You'll take ownership of complex private client engagements, bringing clarity to technical issues and turning detailed tax advice into practical solutions. You'll also help the wider team deliver consistently high-quality work, meet deadlines and build lasting client relationships.
You'll have the technical grounding to advise with confidence, alongside the judgement to manage complex work and help others do their best work.
Experience in international private client tax would also be valuable. This could include cross-border planning, double tax treaties, advice for non-UK residents and internationally mobile individuals, trust and estate taxation, or work within a family office or wealth management setting.
Experience presenting to clients and professional intermediaries would be useful, too.
This professional services firm supports individuals and families with complex tax and financial matters. Its private client offering helps clients manage their tax affairs, protect wealth and plan for the future.
This role brings technical expertise, client service and departmental leadership together. The focus is on delivering thoughtful advice, developing the team's capabilities, strengthening client relationships and identifying new areas for growth.
You'll have the scope to influence client outcomes, support the development of colleagues and help shape the future of the private client department. Your technical expertise will have a voice in the business, with room to develop your leadership and commercial experience along the way.
Hybrid working, with flexible hours and an agile approach to help you work effectively. You'll have access to modern office spaces designed for collaboration, focus and wellbeing.
You'll also have the chance to broaden your influence across the firm, develop your specialist reputation and play a meaningful part in business growth.
What stands out here is the balance. You'll stay close to the technical work that makes you an expert, while having a genuine hand in client strategy, team development and the direction of the department.
For an experienced private client tax adviser who enjoys solving difficult problems and helping others develop, there's plenty of substance to this role. It's a chance to build trusted client relationships, share your expertise and contribute to the firm's wider ambitions.
If you'd like to explore the role, let's have a confidential conversation. We can talk through the team, the expectations and what you'd want from your next move.
