Denholm Associates

Revenue Analyst

Job Ref: 11137

The opportunity you've been waiting for

Forty-five sites. One Centre of Excellence. A revenue accounting function that needs someone who can move fast through high volumes of data without losing sight of accuracy.

This is a global consumer brand with a UK Centre of Excellence built to bring consistency and rigour to revenue accounting across a large portfolio of locations. The Analyst role sits at the heart of that operation, working daily with site teams to keep reporting accurate, timely and clean.

If you like a role where the numbers matter and the relationships matter just as much, this is worth a proper look.

How you'll make your mark

You'll own the daily rhythm of revenue accounting across a portfolio of c.45 sites, balancing multiple revenue streams and resolving issues before they become problems.

Key deliverables

  • Deliver revenue accounting tasks to agreed timetables and SLAs across events, credit cards, food and beverage, and VAT.
  • Reconcile cash postings and credit card transactions, flagging risk and correcting errors at pace.
  • Investigate and resolve revenue queries directly with site teams.
  • Own cancellation fee postings and analyse covers data alongside food and beverage colleagues.
  • Complete journals, reconciliations and monthly close activities to a tight, risk-based deadline.
  • Reconcile VAT and surface compliance concerns before they escalate.
  • Spot recurring process issues and propose fixes, then help implement them once agreed.
  • Support site lifecycle activity, cross-training and wider project work as the function grows.

What you bring

  • Technical accounting and reconciliation experience, ideally within a high-volume, multi-site environment.
  • Confidence working across multiple systems, including ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft.
  • Strong Excel skills and the analytical instinct to spot what needs attention in large data sets.
  • The ability to manage competing daily deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Confidence building relationships with site teams and other stakeholders, and influencing outcomes with them.

What's in it for you

  • 110 nights of deeply discounted stays, with rates from as little as $40 USD a night, through the company's global travel programme.
  • An employee stock purchase scheme offering a 15% discount on shares.
  • Paid parental leave, including for partners and adoptive parents.
  • Caregiving concierge support and a dedicated crisis concierge service for times of loss.
  • Free counselling and mental health support through the company's Employee Assistance Programme.

A bit more about the company

This is one of the world's largest consumer service groups, with a portfolio of well-known brands and a guest base in the billions. The UK Centre of Excellence was set up to centralise revenue accounting for a large cluster of sites, giving the function a consistent standard across the estate.

The role exists because that standard has to be maintained daily, not just at month end. It's a function built on process, but it runs on people who can think on their feet.

Denholm's take

Revenue accounting at this scale is unforgiving. Forty-five hotels means forty-five sets of quirks, and the person who thrives here is the one who can hold the detail and still see the pattern. If that's you, we'd like to talk it through, in confidence, before you decide whether to apply.
