Progressive Partnership have been supporting their clients with market and social research for the last 40 years and with offices across Edinburgh and Glasgow are now looking to add a new Associate Director to the team.
Joining their established team, you will use your research background to support a very varied range of clients on high profile, valuable and interesting research.
This is a key role that can be based from their Edinburgh or Glasgow office (on a hybrid basis) so you need to be accessible to either of these locations.
What we’re looking for:
- A solid grounding in research experience, ideally within an agency environment
- Skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Able to manage a range of projects and used to leading project teams
- Excellent writer where you’ll use this skill to write winning research proposals
- Able to manage a range of projects from start to finish
- Expertise in data analysis and producing reports/presentations
- A collaborative and self-motivated approach to your work, able to build relationships both external and internal
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing, leading and delivering research projects from start to finish
- Designing and implementing qualitative and quantitative research methodologies based on client briefs
- Producing survey materials to a consistently high standard – proposals, topic guides, questionnaires, presentations, reports)
- Overseeing/managing project teams as well as supporting team members with their personal development
- Analysing and interpreting data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations
- Developing business with new and existing clients including seeking out new opportunities
- Taking ownership of ongoing client relationships and key accounts
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practice to continually enhance research capabilities and offering

- Salary: £38-45k
