Join a leading global professional services organisation at a pivotal time, as they undertake a critical review of their job grading structure. This 9-month fixed-term role is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change, ensuring fairness, consistency, and transparency across global non-fee earner roles.
As Job Evaluation Consultant, you’ll take ownership of a high-impact project to map and align global roles into a refreshed grading framework. You’ll ensure structures are future-fit, consistent, and compliant – particularly in light of the new European Directive legislation – while engaging with key stakeholders across the business to secure buy-in and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a full review of global job grades, with a particular focus on non-fee earning roles.

Define grading criteria aligned to business needs and ensure clarity across roles, responsibilities, and titles.

Evaluate existing roles using recognised methodologies (e.g. point-factor, competency mapping).

Assess roles and responsibilities to recommend fair and consistent grades.

Collaborate with HR and business leaders to validate mapping decisions.

Conduct benchmarking and salary analysis to support a competitive and compliant structure.

Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Support managers in communicating grading outcomes and provide guidance and training where needed.
What you’ll bring:

Proven experience in job evaluation, ideally within a professional services environment.

Strong understanding of job architecture frameworks and evaluation methodologies.

Ability to interpret legislation and apply it practically within an HR context.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the confidence to present strategic recommendations.

Experience in delivering change and supporting employees through transitions.
