Infrastructure Support Engineer

£40,000 – £45,000 pa
As the Infrastructure Support Engineer, you’ll be the primary IT support for our Scottish operations. You’ll have the exciting challenge of managing and optimising the IT function across our offices, ensuring seamless connectivity and tech support for our teams. As Infrastructure Support Engineer you will report into the Helpdesk Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be the main point of contact for any IT related queries in any of our Scotland offices
- Maintain and troubleshoot network systems, servers, and storage solutions
- Ensure the availability and reliability of IT services, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud-based systems.
- Provide technical support to employees within the region, both onsite and remotely
- Respond to and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT Support, infrastructure management, or a similar role
- Proven experience managing regional or multi-site IT operations
- Solid understanding of Office 365 and Windows operating systems, as well as cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).”
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki and networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).”
