This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and commercially-minded social specialist to step into a senior role with real influence-shaping client strategy, mentoring talent, and contributing to the continued growth of a leading agency.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Social Media Manager, you’ll take ownership of key client relationships and lead best-in-class social strategy and delivery.
- Develop and own social media strategies across multiple client accounts, aligned to measurable business outcomes
- Translate client briefs into clear, compelling strategic direction, acting as a trusted advisor
- Lead day-to-day client relationships, managing communications across stakeholders and internal teams (creative, SEO, paid media)
- Mentor and develop team members, elevating performance and output
- Oversee community management frameworks, including tone of voice and escalation protocols
- Drive content ideation, working collaboratively with creative teams to deliver engaging, high-performing campaigns
- Own influencer campaigns end-to-end, from strategy and outreach to performance evaluation
- Optimise processes and workflows to ensure efficient delivery across multiple accounts
- Contribute to the evolution of the agency’s social offering, supporting growth and innovation
- Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, and emerging formats
- Support new business pitches and contribute to winning new clients
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated, multi-channel digital strategies
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media and content marketing (agency experience preferred)
- Strong strategic expertise across key social platforms
- Proven track record of planning, executing, and measuring successful campaigns
- Experience managing and mentoring team members
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and multitasking skills
- A confident and credible communicator, comfortable leading client discussions and presentations
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how social drives business results
- A genuine passion for social media, content, and digital innovation
Nice to Have
- Experience within FMCG and/or financial services sectors
- Exposure to international campaigns or markets
